GREEN INDUSTRY HUB HOME PAGE FEATURES NEWS/EVENTS

Herndon, VA, August 1, 2005 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) encourages all its members and friends to check out the new features recently added to the home page of the Green Industry Hub, www.greenindustryhub.com. The site now includes news stories about issues and happenings in the landscape and lawn care professions as well as a calendar of upcoming green industry events. Visitors to the site can also browse the course offerings in the “University” section and check out the “Resources” and “Career” help that the Hub provides.

The Green Industry Hub is an online learning resource for business and career development presented jointly by PLANET, Landscape Management magazine, and the Scher Group. Although much of the valuable content on the Hub is free once a visitor registers, the “Premium Subscriber” content adds more courses as well as several other valuable enhancements. For example, the Hub’s “Share & Compare” groups allow premium subscribers to improve their business operations by confidentially sharing data with a small group of approximately 20 members from companies of about the same size who do not compete in their market.

Moreover, premium subscribers get unlimited, anytime access to the Green Industry Hub’s growing extended library of courses, which include —

· Green industry-specific courses on management and technical topics

· Expanded management and leadership courses

· Workplace compliance courses to help subscribers stay in compliance with federal and state laws

A world of educational offerings awaits visitors to the Green Industry Hub. Visit the Hub online today at www.greenindustryhub.com to view all of its valuable features.

PLANET represents approximately 4,000 green industry service provider companies and suppliers nationwide that specialize in design/build/installation, interior plantscaping, lawn care, and maintenance. These firms and their employees represent more than 100,000 green industry professionals.
