PLANET ANNOUNCES SUCCESSFUL CLT-I CERTIFICATION CANDIDATE

Herndon, VA, September 1, 2005 — An important part of the mission of the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) is to promote the professional advancement of its members.  One means to achieve that goal is through a certification program that tests individuals against a national standard. 

Candidates for the Certified Landscape Technician-Interior (CLT-I) designation must pass a four-hour written test, covering such topics as pesticides, plant identification, safety, watering and sub-irrigation, pruning, fertilization, insects, disease, and customer relations.  PLANET congratulates Lynn Kubichan, CLT, of Greens By White in Libertyville, Illinois, a newly certified interior landscape technician.
