PLANET BESTOWS COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARDS

Herndon, VA, November 15, 2005 — The Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) presented 2005 Community Service Awards at its recent Green Industry Conference awards banquet in Orlando, Florida. Recipients were The Brickman Group, Gaithersburg, Maryland; Moyer & Son Home Turf Advantage, Souderton, Pennsylvania; and Wheat's Lawn & Custom Landscape, Vienna, Virginia.

The award honors a landscape or lawn care company that has demonstrated leadership through its dedication and contribution to the good of the community. Entries are judged based on the level of community service importance, years of involvement, project success, and a project’s impact on the community.
