| Educator of the Year | The “Educator of the Year Award” was created to recognize educators in the industry who have been passionate supporters and tireless ambassadors of the landscape industry. Recipients of the award are described as going above and beyond the call of duty, contributing time, energy, and enthusiasm to their programs and being dedicated to the education of the future leaders of the industry.

| | PLANET Accreditation Program | Accreditation is PLANET's endorsement of colleges and universities with outstanding landscape contracting or horticulture degrees. This recognition is extended to schools that meet or exceed industry standards for a model curriculum. The Accreditation program can serve as guidance to create and/or improve program curricula. Graduates of accredited programs are highly sought after by every facet of the landscape profession.

| Student Internships | An internship program is an investment that can yield rich rewards for all involved or

| | PLANET Student Chapter Members | Any school with an accredited two-year or four-year program in the horticulture field may form a student chapter. Each chapter includes a faculty advisor, who is an affiliate member.
